CÁMO Cemi’no is a multi-hyphenated, multi-talented individual with a thirst for structural change and survivor-centered activism. They are a proud Afro-Latinx, Trans* and Neurodivergent youth activist. Recent graduate of Ivy League Brown University, they are the Co-Founder and Co-Executive Director of an aspiring 501©(3) organization known as LOGRO. LOGRO is an equity-driven network of BIPOC and LGBTQ+ organizers that collaborate with individuals and organizations to foster inclusive communities and raise social consciousness through new age activism. They (with the support of their co-founder Diana Tiburcio) founded LOGRO during the height of COVID-19 and while completing their Bachelors.

At New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault (NJCASA), they act as their Community Engagement Specialist. Their life’s mission is to revitalize Latin America and bring visibility to Queer, Trans*, and Neurodivergent Afro-Latinx populations with an emphasis in anti-violence, anti-oppression, anti-racism, and the critical pedagogy of joy. In their free time, they combine their passion for social justice with their passion for the arts. They excel in dance & choreography, filmmaking, poetry, photography, singing, tocando güira, and painting (just to name a few). Their heart and soul are tied to Afro-Latinx music and social justice. They do not want to live a life without either. They hope that their pedagogy of radical love and healing can propel NJCASA’s vision of ending sexual violence forward. Their favorite animal is a Humpback Whale, and they have a ball python named “Maja-Negra”.
